At 7pm on Monday 24th October, we will be holding a meeting at the Holiday Inn, Guildford.
This will be a General Meeting for shareholders (as defined by the Companies Act), but non-shareholding colleagues such as yourself are also welcome to attend.
The meeting will cover a wide range of topics, including a review of the previous financial year, an update on the current financial year and a look forward at our plans for the future. It gives you the opportunity to hear first-hand from the Directors and Senior Leadership Team, as well as the chance to ask questions.
There are some statutory items of business that only shareholders may vote on, but this takes up a relatively small proportion of the meeting. Non-shareholders are likely to find the majority of the meeting directly relevant to them. Attendance is particularly recommended to colleagues who are thinking of purchasing shares in the future, should the opportunity arise. You can see the topics to be covered in the agenda here.
You can attend in person at the Holiday Inn, Egerton Road, Guildford, GU2 7XR, or via electronic link. The latter format offers less flexibility in terms of asking questions, but may be easier for those living further away, or with domestic commitments.
If you plan to attend, please let Mary Halnan know at mary.halnan@williams.uk.com ASAP, stating whether you will be attending in person or electronically. We can then make appropriate plans for both catering and sending out the electronic link.
If you have a question you would like to ask which may require a detailed or researched answer, it would be helpful if you could let Mary know at the same time as confirming attendance. The relevant director or board member will then have the opportunity to research the answer before the meeting.
